Northern Pacific Airways is a new airline which expects to launch later this year. Its main goal is to turn Anchorage into the globe-connecting passenger hub it used to be decades ago.
Although there are many US-Asia flight options, Northern Pacific's CEO Robert McKinney sees an opportunity. According to him, they estimate similar travel times. He also believes they can be a low-cost alternative.
The routes with which this airline will debut are not established, but some of the cities envisioned are: Nagoya, Osaka, Seoul and Tokyo-Narita. On the US side, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando and New York round up the list.
