Cirium, a specialist firm in aviation sector analysis, has released its monthly reports on the punctuality performance of Latin American airlines in January and February 2023. Panamanian airline, Copa Airlines, came in first place with an 86.80% and 94.39% on-time performance for its flights, respectively.
In January, second place went to SKY Airline with an 86.55% on-time performance, Latam Airlines took third place with 86.20%, followed by Aeroméxico with 86.19% in fourth place, and Avianca with 85.30% in fifth place.
In February, SKY Airline repeated in second place with an 89.02% on-time performance, followed by Avianca in third place with 87.89%, Viva Air in fourth place with 86.16%, and Latam Airlines in fifth place with 85.16%.
It is important to note that Cirium's monthly reports are designed to evaluate airlines and airports that achieve good punctuality results. The data used in these reports comes from Cirium Core, which contains more than 300 terabytes of information from over 2,000 sources.
