For the second consecutive year, the LATAM Group has achieved the highest recognition in the global airline category, being awarded the coveted "Five Star Global Airline" title in the 2024 APEX Ranking. This accolade is particularly special as it is the first official airline rating program solely based on feedback and evaluations from passengers themselves.


The APEX Ranking gathers its insights from passenger data, comments, and reviews, facilitated by APEX's partnership with TripIt® by Concur®, the world's top-rated travel organization app. For the latest edition of this ranking, nearly a million flights were reviewed by passengers from over 600 airlines.

To achieve a Four or Five-Star rating, passengers evaluate multiple aspects of their airline experience, including seat comfort, in-flight service, dining options, onboard entertainment, and Wi-Fi connectivity.


LATAM has excelled in these areas with its world-class offerings. The airline has introduced modernized cabins featuring ergonomic seating designed for passenger comfort and an array of amenities. Passengers can enjoy a cutting-edge in-flight entertainment system that includes the latest releases and exclusive content from platforms like HBO MAX, TikTok, and LinkedIn Learning.


Furthermore, LATAM places a strong emphasis on connectivity, with the introduction of free Wi-Fi currently underway. The airline has also distinguished itself with its in-flight dining experience, providing complimentary service on domestic routes and introducing a unique recipe program for long-haul flights. This program celebrates the cultural and gastronomic heritage of South America by featuring emerging female chefs who represent regional cuisines onboard.
