Enhancing Delivery Efficiency: Boeing's New Parts Distribution Hub in Poland

Boeing's recent announcement about the opening of a new parts distribution center at Panattoni Park Rzeszów Airport III in Poland marks an important development for the company. This facility will serve as a hub for storing aircraft parts and enable Boeing to streamline its shipping and packaging processes for their partners. By doing so, they aim to enhance delivery times for their commercial and military customers, including airlines, original equipment manufacturers, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations.

The establishment of this center reflects Boeing's commitment to expanding its presence in the Podkarpackie region and Europe as a whole, while also creating job opportunities and fostering industrial partnerships. Michael Haidinger, President of Boeing Germany, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe, expressed the company's vision for growth in the region and its dedication to delivering value to customers.

With its strategic location in Rzeszów, this facility becomes Boeing's second-largest distribution center in Europe, following its chemical and specialty materials facility in Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany. William Ampofo, Vice President of Distribution Services and Supply Chain for Boeing Global Services, emphasized the company's ongoing efforts to enhance its distribution capabilities and leverage its global network. This, in turn, strengthens Boeing's ability to meet the diverse needs of customers by providing the right products and services at the right time and place.

Since 2005, Boeing Distribution Services has been operating in Poland, providing support to over 200 clients in the civil and military aerospace sectors. The company's extensive portfolio of distribution services and spare parts comprises more than 15 million items, offering independent solutions that reduce costs, risks, and complexities for customers in the manufacturing and aftermarket segments worldwide.

By establishing the new center in Poland, Boeing reinforces its commitment to delivering exceptional service and support to its customers while leveraging its global reach and expertise. The expansion of its distribution capabilities positions the company for continued growth and success in the dynamic aerospace industry.
