Former Delta´s senior VP Steve Dickson will be leaving his position as the FAA Administrator at the end of March, an announcement that comes prematurely since his original agreement contemplated a period of five years.
The reasons he shared to support his decision is the time that the pandemic has forced him to be away from his beloved ones, but not before emphasizing the achievements obtained during his management in terms of collaboration, inclusion and work culture.
The reality is that he also had to face important challenges related to the Boeing Max, the impact of the pandemic at industry level and, in recent times, problems related to the implementation of 5G networks.
Delta Air Lines is expected to announce his successor in the coming weeks.
