For the second consecutive year, Forbes recognized Delta airlines as one of the best workplaces for women in the United States, due to the fact that its employees gave high marks to the working conditions offered by the company.
"Delta has always strived to make its company an excellent space for all women who come to the hiring, recruiting and executive representation stages of this airline," the airline said in a statement.
Joanne Smith, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, said, “This recognition fuels our passion to continue making Delta an inclusive company that uplifts and encourages women; It inspires us to continue our journey, while increasing the number of women in leadership roles across the company.”
To grant this recognition, Forbes, in association with Statista, a market research company, conducted a survey of more than 30,000 women who currently work in companies with at least a thousand workers in their operations in the United States.
