Delta Air Lines has been named the "World's Most Admired Airline" by Fortune, with the company ranked No. 1 in the industry for values such as innovation and people management. Delta has also been the highest-rated airline on the overall list of "Most Admired Companies," reaching 12th place this year. "I couldn't be more proud of the Delta team for being named to Fortune's Most Admired Companies list for the 10th consecutive year," said Ed Bastian, Delta's CEO. “This award is a great testimonial and recognition of their hard work, their dedication and their success. It is no surprise that they are consistently recognized as among the best." In addition to the evolution of Delta's brand experiences, the company has consistently been recognized for its operational reliability, reflecting the airline's operational complexity and the work of Delta people to achieve on-time performance while limiting the impact of outages to your customers. Fortune collaborated with Korn Ferry on this corporate reputation survey, which began with a universe of about 1,500 candidates: the top 1,000 US companies ranked by revenue, along with non-US companies in the Fortune Global 500 database with revenues of 10,000. million dollars or more. This selection was narrowed down to the companies with the highest revenue in each sector, a total of 645 from 27 countries. To determine the top rated companies in 52 industries, Korn Ferry asked executives, directors and analysts to rate companies in their own industry based on nine criteria, from value of investment and quality of management and products to social responsibility and the ability to attract talent. A company must score in the top half of its industry survey to be listed. To select the Top 50 All-Stars, Korn Ferry asked 3,760 executives, directors and stock analysts who had responded to industry surveys to select the 10 companies they most admired.
