100,000+ passengers in one day for Air Canada

It has been 2 years since the last time Air Canada was seen surpassing the milestone of 100,000 passengers in one day. The pandemic had an impact and it is to this day that the airline flies high again.

This fact is an important step in the economic recovery not only of the corporate but of the industry. The result is attributed to the vacation season that for the first time overcomes the fear and the measures that came from the hand of Covid-19.

Easter is the holiday that brings joy to Air Canada, especially last Friday.

Kevin O'Connor, VP of the airline commented:

"We were very pleased to have had 100,701 customers board our plans on April 15th, as travelers steadily return. Clearly, there is a pent-up demand for travel that is matched only by our enthusiasm to welcome back our customers."

The flights of these 100,000+ passengers were achieved without problems and Air Canada expects this recovery trend to continue for the rest of the year.
